LUPARA Add New Guitarist, Prepare To Enter Studio

August 24, 2004

LUPARA, the Illinois-based band featuring former BROKEN HOPE guitarist Jeremy Wagner, recently relocated to Mercenary Digital Studios in Zion, IL where they are rehearsing and preparing to record close to 20 new songs. "We've spent the last few months (late spring and all of summer) basically writing and trying to move forward with the band," Wagner writes on the group's web site. "We hope to have a new demo out this fall, and the material is heavier and darker than the first demo."

In other news, LUPARA have announced the addition of guitarist Tom Brandner (ex-NUMSKULL) to the group's ranks. Jeremy hasn't been in a band with another guitarist since BROKEN HOPE, and "it's an exciting time for LUPARA as Tom has brought in a new dimension to the band with his riffing and added melodies to certain songs," according to a post on the web site.

LUPARA's three-song demo/promo CD can be ordered by sending $4.00 (preferably in the form of a money order) to: Jeremy Wagner, P.O. Box 445, Gurnee, IL 60031-0445, USA. All CDs come with a free sticker and a signed photo.
